We are a community-based store offering locally sourced art, jewelry, found furniture pieces, home goods and accessories with an industrial flair. We love salvaged architectural items and the unique aesthetics that are developed with time. Station 7 opened in June 2015.
Look closely between the original arched carriage doors and you’ll see the original terra cotta cartouche in the shape of a shield, which reads SFD (Seattle Fire Department). The firehouse was built in 1920 and remained active until 1970.
The restored patio features reclaimed old-growth fir and steel benches with beautiful steel planters made by Ballard artist David Tuthill Metals. In years past, this area was a gathering spot for the neighborhood; a sketch from the 70s envisioned a brick patio, bike rack and picnic area. We hope you find it to be a welcoming place to visit, relax and connect with friends.
